OUR ENERGY POLICY

Pelsan Tekstil considers it a fundamental responsibility, under the leadership of top management, to continuously improve its energy performance, manage energy consumption in a traceable manner, and sustainably reduce its carbon footprint and operational costs by increasing energy efficiency.

In this regard,

• To take measures to use energy resources efficiently, reduce energy and raw material consumption, and leave more resources and a livable environment for future generations,

• To analyze the human, infrastructure, and technological resources required to achieve energy objectives and targets, and to support the improvement of energy performance by deploying all necessary resources in line with our company’s needs,

• Performance related to energy objectives and targets is regularly monitored and reviewed with the participation of top management; targets and action plans are updated when deemed necessary,

• To continuously improve the energy management system,

• To control energy use and consumption through the selection of energy-efficient products, machinery, equipment, and raw materials,

• To analyze the training and competency needs required for our employees to fulfill their roles and responsibilities, and to allocate sufficient resources accordingly,

• To identify and analyze the needs and expectations of both our employees and all other stakeholders, and to ensure full compliance with legal and all other applicable requirements,

• To ensure, through monitoring, measurement, analysis, and evaluation activities, the replacement of machinery, equipment, and/or systems that negatively affect energy use and consumption with more environmentally and energy-friendly alternatives, and to keep significant energy uses under continuous control through necessary maintenance and repair activities,

• Our organization considers improvement opportunities in design activities that affect energy performance; where appropriate, it incorporates the results of energy performance evaluations into design and procurement processes and maintains relevant records,
