Pelsan Tekstil, considers reducing its environmental impacts by closely following technological developments and continuously improving its environmental performance in line with sustainability and circular economy principles among its primary priorities. While conducting its activities, it systematically evaluates environmental risks and opportunities and effectively manages the environmental impacts of its products and processes by adopting a life cycle perspective.

In this context;

• To ensure full compliance with applicable national and international environmental legislation and other obligations,

• To establish measurable objectives to improve our environmental performance, and to regularly monitor and review our performance,

• To reduce waste generation at the source and ensure recycling,

• To contribute to the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution, and continuous improvement of environmental performance,

• To contribute to the protection of biodiversity by supporting sustainable forestry and agricultural practices,

• To use energy, water, and natural resources effectively and efficiently, and to increase the use of environmentally friendly, natural, and neutral products and processes in order to reduce the water footprint,

• To ensure that scrap and waste generated from existing products are collected and reused or recycled for re-evaluation,

• To monitor greenhouse gas emissions and aim to reduce both our company’s and our customers’ carbon footprint by developing alternative and innovative solutions,

• To promote environmental responsibility awareness throughout our supply chain,

• To integrate our environmental management system into our business processes and strategies, ensuring the systematic identification of environmental risks and opportunities,

• To ensure the safe use of chemicals and minimize their environmental impacts,

• To be prepared for environmental emergencies and continuously improve our response processes,

• To conduct regular training and awareness activities to enhance our employees’ environmental awareness,
