OUR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Pelsan Tekstil, we consider it our fundamental principle to protect the health and safety of our employees, contractors, subcontractors, and visitors, to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, and to provide a safe working environment.

In this regard, we make the following commitments:

• We fully comply with national and international occupational health and safety legislation, customer requirements, and voluntary commitments.

• To prevent occupational accidents and diseases, we systematically identify hazards, risks, and near-miss incidents in the workplace, and implement proactive and preventive measures to eliminate risks or reduce them to acceptable levels.

• We implement a sustainable, effective, and documented Occupational Health and Safety Management System; we regularly monitor its performance and continuously improve it.

• To improve our occupational health and safety performance, we establish measurable (quantitative) objectives, develop action plans, and regularly monitor their level of achievement.

• By ensuring the consultation and participation of our employees and all relevant parties, we establish a strong occupational health and safety culture in which safe and healthy working practices are internalized.

• We provide regular occupational health and safety (OHS) training to employees, contractors, and all relevant parties; by monitoring the effectiveness of these trainings, we continuously increase awareness.

• In new investments, process changes, and projects, we evaluate occupational safety, ergonomics, and employee health as primary criteria, and we make use of the best available technologies.

• We carry out the necessary planning for potential emergencies and ensure preparedness through regular drills and reviews.

• We ensure that contractors and subcontractors within our supply chain comply with our OHS rules; we monitor their performance and support their improvement.

• We promote opportunities, lessons learned, and best practices in the field of occupational health and safety, disseminate them across all our activities, and base our approach on continuous improvement.
