OUR SOCIAL COMPLIANCE POLICY

This policy has been prepared to define our company’s commitments and corporate values in the field of social responsibility. Our company aims to protect employees’ rights, comply with social and ethical standards, and fulfil its environmental responsibilities. In addition, we commit to operating in full compliance with the labor standards set by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and other international norms. The ILO strives globally to protect workers’ rights, ensure fair working conditions, and promote social justice. As Pelsan management, we support this mission by adopting ethics, integrity, and fair practices as fundamental principles in all our activities. We are committed to ensuring that employees receive all rights arising from standards within the framework of applicable laws, complying with occupational health and safety rules, being environmentally responsible, and fostering a workplace environment based on open and honest communication, respect, and appreciation among employees.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS: To maintain our presence in working life by adhering to applicable local laws and regulations, relevant international requirements, and the standards to which we have committed compliance.

EMPLOYEE RIGHTS AND CONTRIBUTION TO EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT: To respect all values and rights of employees, provide equal rights and good working conditions for all employees, enhance employee satisfaction, and contribute to their professional and personal development as well as their quality of life through training.

PREGNANT EMPLOYEES: To protect the health rights of our pregnant employees and provide safe working conditions, to prevent any discrimination due to pregnancy and ensure that their workplace rights are safeguarded, and to provide appropriate leave under suitable conditions to ensure a healthy working environment for pregnant employees.

EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGN NATIONAL WORKERS: To ensure that employment contracts for foreign national employees working/to be employed in our organization are prepared in a language they understand, that all personnel processes from hiring to termination are carried out in compliance with applicable legal regulations, that workers are not employed under any form of debt or coercion, and that no illegal or undocumented workers are employed in our organization.

PREVENTION OF FORCED AND COMPULSORY LABOR: To ensure that no work is carried out under contractual obligation or in exchange for debt, and that all work is based on voluntary participation.

PREVENTION OF CHILD LABOR: To ensure the protection of children from all forms of exploitation, to respect their healthy development and right to education, not to employ workers under the age of 18, and to act in accordance with the procedures and principles governing the employment of young workers.

PREVENTION OF DISCRIMINATION: To avoid discrimination among employees based on age, gender, race, religion, language, ancestry, ethnic or national origin, social class, sexual orientation, belief, marital, social, or economic status, etc., and to implement mechanisms to prevent discrimination.

EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION & FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION: To respect employees’ right to be represented through their representatives in management, their right to join trade unions and engage in collective bargaining, and their right to free and democratic representation through employee representatives.

PREVENTION OF MISTREATMENT AND HARASSMENT: To prioritize workplace peace and employee well-being; to respect employees’ dignity and personal rights, and to avoid any form of corporate punishment; to prohibit verbal, physical, or psychological harassment, pressure, threats, or coercion; and to establish mechanisms through which every employee can safely and confidently express their requests and complaints.

WORKING HOURS: To comply with applicable laws and regulations and the standards we are committed to when determining working hours, in line with the principle of efficient working, and to ensure that overtime work is based on voluntariness.
